The Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi died in a helicopter crash in East Azerbaijan province on Sunday. After the tragic accident, now the vice president Mokhber is currently appointed as the acting president of the Islamic Republic.

Iranian President Helicopter Missing:

The Iranian President went missing between the two places Varzaqan and Jolfa which is situated in the East Azerbaijan province, Iran. The team received the last signal from the Bell 212 helicopter in the forest region of Dismar. The Iranian rescue team was continuously sending the rescue team to locate the helicopter.

Due to the bad weather, the official rescue team was not able to find or locate the Iranian president. The area where the helicopter disappeared in the forest was covered by fog did not help the rescue situation. Many people hoped for the president's and other's rescue but some lost their hope and assumed the members would have died.

Bell 212 helicopter carrying the Iranian president went missing yesterday kept the people in shock. The helicopter was found this morning and the team found that the Iranian president Ebrahim and other members who traveled along with him in the helicopter were found dead in the helicopter crash. Later, it was reported that Ebrahim Raisi was traveling home to Tehran and made a crash near Jolfa.

The team was trying to find the identification of each person and give the respective bodies to their family and honor them. The death of the president with other political leaders shattered the country.

After hearing the horrible news, Iran mourns for President Ebrahim and the rest who were in the helicopter crash. In this situation, now Iran's first Vice President Mohammad Mokhber was appointed as acting president on Monday.

Mohammad Mokhber was the former head of the Execution of Imam Khomeini's Order (EIKO), the chairman of the board at Sina Bank, and deputy governor of Khuzestan Province.

Ebrahim Raisi traveled in a Bell 212 helicopter which was manufactured by Dextran Company, a division of Bell Dextran Inc. The company developed the original UH-1 Iroquois, an advanced technology helicopter for the Canadian military in the late 1960s.
