Zoho Joined She Code Africa To Enhance Tech Skills for Women

Zoho And She Code

Zoho, a global tech company, has partnered with She Code Africa (SCA), a non-profit organization, to support African women in tech. The collaboration will see Zoho hosting “Train the Trainer” sessions in Lagos, Nigeria, for 30 SCA Academy trainers.

These sessions will introduce them to Zoho Creator, a low-code app development platform. The trainers will then pass their knowledge on to students, helping them build impactful applications and address real business problems.

This initiative is part of Zoho’s “Young Creators Program” (YCP), launched globally in 2022, which focuses on fostering tech innovation and preparing the next generation of leaders. Participants will receive training, materials, and free access to Zoho Creator for a year.

As part of Zoho Creator’s “Young Creators Program” (YCP), Zoho will host a three-day immersive training session in Lagos, Nigeria, for 30 female trainers from the SCA Academy.

The YCP has already empowered over 2,000 students globally by providing hands-on training in Zoho Creator, along with completion certificates and exciting rewards.

This program not only enhances technical skills but also boosts confidence, supports personal growth, and opens doors to new opportunities in the tech industry.

Zoho’s investment aims to empower local communities, boost confidence, and open new opportunities in tech. Maryblessing Okolie from SCA highlights the program's role in bridging technical skill gaps and advancing talent said, “The ‘Young Creators Program’ aims to bridge the technical skill gap and support talent-building for our youth who will be the next generation of leaders and professionals. We are glad to partner with Zoho to help our trainers learn the latest advancements in low-code technology, and then pass on the knowledge to our other students,”
