A London based startup named Zego offers insurance to gig economy workers and has raised 42 million dollars in funding this huge amount will be used for the expansion of the startup across Europe and it will increase its workforce from 75 to 150.  According to the techcrunch this latest series B investment makes the firm to have a total of 51 million dollars in funding. This startup services such as ride sharing car rental scooter sharing and even a range of policies from minute by minute insurance to enable cover rising are based on the usage data from vehicles. Right now the firm insurance most of the UK food delivery market in partnership with Deliveroo, Just Eat and Ubereats.

Another company with similar success story is this Slate cube. It is a Nigerian cloud based recruitment startup that announced it will be launching in South Africa.
