Call History Search:

Using iOS 18, you can now easily search your call history. Whether you’re looking for a specific number, name, or even a label like “Work” or “Skin Clinic,” simply type your criteria in the Phone app’s Recent tab or use Spotlight Search to find your calls immediately. In addition to that, you can also search by the date or month you last spoke to the person.

Record with a Song Playing:

One of the significant updates of iOS 18 is the Camera app which allows you to take photos or videos while your music continues to play. This feature works with Bluetooth connections, making it perfect for capturing moments without interrupting your soundtrack.

Dynamic Subtitles in Apple TV:

With this feature, one can manage the Photos app more effectively with a new filtering option that allows you to hide screenshots from your main library view. Share a specific section of a podcast

In iOS 18, a specific upgrade intrigues users in which you can share a specific portion of a podcast episode with others.

To begin, tap the "Now Playing bar" at the bottom of the screen to pause the episode. Next, use the "progress bar" to navigate to the exact moment you want to share. 

After you’ve found the right spot, tap the "More (…)" button, then select "Share Episode" from the options. From there, choose "From Start" and then opt for "From [current time]". Finally, tap "Done" to complete the sharing process.

Lock and Hide iPhone Apps:

With iOS 18, you can lock and hide apps on your iPhone, even when it’s unlocked. To lock an app, simply press and hold the app icon, select "Require Face ID" or "Touch ID," and confirm your choice. 

In addition, you can also hide third-party apps (but not system apps like Safari) by removing their icons from the Home Screen, they won’t appear in searches but may still show up in Settings. 

Access hidden apps through the App Library by swiping to the "Hidden" folder, which requires Face ID or Touch ID to view.
