Apple recently warned iPhone users in India and 97 other countries about potential spyware attacks targeting specific individuals. These attacks, described as mercenary spyware, are sophisticated and aimed at compromising devices remotely.

What Is Mercenary Spyware?

This software is designed to infiltrate and monitor the activities of a target's device, such as a computer or smartphone, without their consent or knowledge.

Apple Warning To iPhone Users:

Apple has issued a stark warning to users about sophisticated mercenary spyware attacks targeting specific individuals, emphasizing the severity and targeted nature of the threats.

The tech giant urges users to activate Lockdown Mode and offers rewards for reporting vulnerabilities, emphasizing its dedication to user security amid increasing digital threats.

These spyware attacks, more complex and costly than typical cyber threats, are often used by governments to observe activists and journalists.
