AI Will Give New Job Opportunities, Zoho CEO Vembu Says

Zoho, a global tech CEO, Sridhar Vembu, stated that AI development will create many jobs and also announced plans to open a company in Uttar Pradesh.

In a recent interview, Sridhar Vembu, the CEO of Zoho Corporation, shared his view on the future of work in light of advancing artificial intelligence (AI). 

During the interview with a private Channel, he also announced Zoho's plans to open a new office in Uttar Pradesh, highlighting the company's commitment to expanding its footprint in Uttar Pradesh as he already sees significant profits in North India.

Zoho CEO Sridhar Vembu addressed a common concern among workers, the fear that AI will replace jobs. In this case, he refers to the past when software automation began to take hold in industries like banking, there were widespread fears of job losses. However, this transformation ultimately led to the creation of numerous software-related positions.

Sridhar Vembu highlighted that while AI may indeed replace some roles, it will simultaneously give rise to new Job opportunities. For example, fields such as prompt engineering are emerging as vital areas of expertise. 

Zoho CEO also said that the development of AI can make software more advanced and affordable, and it may simplify the work of software developers. Vembu also implied that one should plan according to what's best for the future job.
