YouTuber Irfan Baby Delivery Viral Video Sparks Controversy

Irfan, the popular YouTuber, has found himself at the center of yet another controversy after posting a video of his baby's birth process, which includes footage of the umbilical cord being cut. 

Irfan Views:

Irfan started his YouTube channel Irfan Views as a food reviewer, as time progressed, he gained fame and his content evolved to include celebrity interviews and lifestyle updates. He is also known for his appearance on Cook With Comali Season 5. Irfan often shares glimpses of his personal life with his audience, a practice that has garnered both praise and criticism.

Gender Reveal Controversy:

Irfan constantly gets into controversy and a recent one is where he was condemned for revealing the gender of his unborn child on YouTube, which is against Indian laws designed to prevent gender-based discrimination and selective abortion. The violation led to a warning, but this latest controversy has escalated matters further.

The Birth Video Controversy:

In the now-viral video, Irfan shows the birth of his baby at the Private Hospital. The footage includes a segment where he cuts the newborn's umbilical cord. The video drew criticism from medical professionals.

Legal Actions:

Dr. J. Rajamoorthy, the Director of Medical and Rural Health Services, expressed concern over Irfan's actions, stating that cutting the umbilical cord in such a publicized manner is unlawful. 

Dr. Rajamoorthy also announced that a notice would be sent to Rainbow Children's Hospital for explanation. If the explanation is not proper, the hospital’s actions could face legal consequences under the Clinical Establishment Act.

Furthermore, the medical professionals involved in the birth process could face an inquiry. Their reports will be sent to the medical council for review, and they could face disciplinary action if found in violation of professional guidelines.

As for Irfan, Dr. Rajamoorthy confirmed that an investigation would be launched to consider whether his actions warrant any legal action. Depending on the outcome, authorities may take appropriate steps against him as well.
