Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K.Stalin participated in a seminar organized by Manorama News Media in Thrissur, Kerala State and addressed through a video call. In his speech, the Chief Minister commented on many aspects, including the diversity of the country, language, and parliamentary functions.
Speaking on occasion, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Stalin said, "Former Prime Minister Nehru was the one who created language-wise states so that people speaking different languages could live in harmony. At that time, he promised that Hindi would never be imposed. Also, Nehru gave importance to parliamentary democracy. But now, 27 opposition MPs have been suspended in Parliament."
Freedom of speech in Parliament is suppressed. India is multi-lingual and multi-cultural. "Those who impose one language, one religion and one culture are the enemies of India's unity!" mentions CM Stalin. The country will be happy and strong if the state governments are made self-sufficient. Having strong states is India's strength, not weakness.
Tamil Nadu CM Stalin has tweeted, "Those who impose one language, one religion and one culture are the enemies of India's unity! You can never achieve Unity by Uniformity! The only way for India to thrive is to have Strong, Autonomous States."
