TNPSC Group-IV Exam: Additional 2,500 Vacancies have been Included

TNPSC Group 4 Exam News updates: TNPSC officials have informed that there are 9,870 vacancies in the Group 4 exam, while 7301 posts have already been announced. Also, the officials are confident that this number is likely to increase.

Around 15 lakh candidates appeared for the Group IV examination held in July. There has been a delay in the publication of the exam results due to the ongoing work of correcting the answer sheet.

Meanwhile, while there were already 7,301 posts, an additional 2,500 have been added to the Group-4 examination. Thus the total has increased to 9,870. According to reports, the result is likely to be released in January as the work of correcting the answer sheet is underway.

Since Group 4 positions are filled following a single-stage written test, it is anticipated that TNPSC will make candidates aware of the rise in openings before the written test results are announced, or candidates are contacted for counselling.
