TN Weather Report: 9 Districts Under Heavy Rain Alert

The Chennai Meteorological Department has issued a yellow warning for heavy rain affecting nine districts in Tamil Nadu on September 30. Fishers man also advised not to enter the sea due to the cyclone alert.
According to the Chennai Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain, accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning, is expected across Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal for the following 6 days.
Heavy Rainfall:
Heavy rain is predicted to occur at isolated locations in several districts, including Nilgiris, Ghat areas of Coimbatore, Dindigul, Theni, Virudhunagar, Tenkasi, Tirunelveli, Kanyakumari and Thoothukudi on September 9. So, the people of Tamil Nadu are advised to be cautious of the weather.
Warning For Fisherman:
Fishermen should take alarm, as cyclonic winds are anticipated in the Gulf of Mannar, Southeast coastal areas, adjacent Kumari Sea, Western areas of the Southwest Arabian Sea, and the Central West Arabian Sea.
A cyclone is likely to develop over the western parts of the Southwest Arabian Sea on October 1 and another over the West Bengal Sea on October 3. Fishermen are advised to avoid these regions on the mentioned days.
Chennai:
In Chennai, the weather is expected to be partly cloudy with thunderstorms and light to moderate rain in some areas. The maximum temperature is predicted to be around 35°C, while the minimum temperature will range between 26-27°C.
Coimbatore:
As for now, Coimbatore is partly cloudy, and expecting thunderstorms with rain. The maximum temperature is predicted to be 35°C and a minimum is 23°C.
