TN Weather Report: Heavy Rain Expected In Chennai And Other Districts

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy to moderate rain is expected in 15 districts of Tamil Nadu.

In this case, in the notification issued by the Chennai Meteorological Department, "Chennai, Tiruvallur, Chengalpattu, Kanchipuram, Tiruvannamalai, Ranipet, Thoothukudi, Ramanathapuram, Cuddalore, Kallakurichi, Mayiladuthurai, Ariyalur, Perambalur, Vellore, Tirupathur are likely to receive rain in the next 3 hours."

It rained in the Cuddalore district from 3 am. Cuddalore, Nellikuppam, Palur, Karaikadu, Kullanjavadi, Kurinjipadi, Vadalur received heavy rain. According to the Meteorological Department, the low-pressure area formed in the Andaman Sea will strengthen as a storm on December 1.
