CM Stalin Announces Incentives For Doctors, Nurses, and Paramedics

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has announced Rs 25 lakh each to the families of 43 doctors who lost their lives due to Covid-19. Stalin also announced incentives for doctors, nurses, and paramedics who would be on duty in April, May, and June.

The second wave of COVID 19 is becoming challenging in Tamil Nadu by increasing new cases, and the frontliners are working under hefty pressure to save the lives of the patients despite shortages of medicines and oxygen cylinders.

The doctors are sacrificing their life being on duty. The COVID in Tamil Nadu is climbing in recent days, and the government has announced a complete curfew which is to continue till May 24.

Doctors, Nurses, and frontline workers are continuously working under stress with minimum relaxation in order to respect and honor the work; the government of Tamil Nadu has announced incentives for the doctors and the nurses.

Doctors who are in the Covid duty will be provided with Rs 30,000 incentives where the nurses will receive 20,000. And Rs.15,000 will be given to the other healthcare workers for April to June. Even the PG students and the trainee doctors will be given Rupees 20,000 as incentives.

And to note, Rs. 25 lakh solatium will be given to the 43 doctors' families who lost their lives during COVID duty. This announcement was appreciated and gathered special respect for MK Stalin.

A high number of new positive cases are found in Chengalpattu (2419), Chennai (7466), Madurai (1024), Coimbatore (2650), and Thiruvallur (1204). Kanyakumari is nearing 1000 with the fresh case of 995.

Tamil Nadu is recorded with 29,272  fresh cases on May 11, with a death count of 298, and 19,182 patients have recovered and discharged from the hospital.

Chief Minister MK Stalin has ordered the MLAs to check all the COVOID hospitals to know the needs and requirements. The government has requested the COVID fund, and it is warming to see that the public is coming forward to fund it.

The Tamil Nadu government is actively performing when it comes to COVID second wave, but the needs and requirements from the people side are more.
