Tamil Nadu Weather Report: North East Monsoon Likely To Start Tomorrow

Meteorological Center has informed that the northeast monsoon will likely start tomorrow in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and South Andhra Pradesh.

Speaking to reporters in Chennai, he said that due to atmospheric circulation in the South West Bay of Bengal region, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry are likely to receive rain at one or two places during the next 24 hours and heavy rains at a couple of places.

Light to moderate rain at many places in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal till November 4. As for Chennai and its suburbs, light to moderate rain will occur in a few places in the city.

Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has announced that there may be light to moderate rain in Tamil Nadu today. Cuddalore, Ariyalur, Thanjavur, Thiruvarur, Nagai, Mayiladuthurai, Pudukkottai, Sivagangai, Ramanathapuram and Madurai districts are expected to receive heavy rain tomorrow. Heavy rain is also expected in Theni, Dindigul, Virudhunagar, Tenkasi, Thoothukudi, Tirunelveli and Kanyakumari districts.
