TN Weather Report: Rain In Eight Districts Including Coimbatore

The Chennai Meteorological Department has issued a detailed press release regarding the upcoming weather conditions across Tamil Nadu. Moderate rainfall is expected across the entire state of Tamil Nadu. 

For the next 24 hours, there is a chance of light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning occurring at isolated places in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal areas.

According to the Chennai Meteorological Department, thunderstorms and lightning are expected to be localized, affecting one or two places within Tamil Nadu.

Strong surface winds, with speeds reaching 30-40 kmph, are expected to occur over Tamil Nadu, due to the monsoon activity and potentially affecting local weather patterns.

The sky is forecasted to be partly cloudy over the next 48 hours. This weather pattern suggests intervals of sunshine incorporated with cloud cover. Light to moderate rain, accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning, is likely to occur in some areas of Tamil Nadu, contributing to various weather conditions across the region.

Chennai:

Chennai is expected to experience a partly cloudy sky over the next 24 hours. Residents may predict light to moderate rain with occasional thundershowers in isolated parts of the city. 

The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 35-36°C, offering warm daytime temperatures. Meanwhile, the minimum temperature is forecasted to be around 27-28°C, ensuring relatively mild nights.

Coimbatore:

Coimbatore can expect a generally cloudy sky and rainy today. The maximum temperature is around 31-33°C. Meanwhile, the minimum temperatures are predicted to drop to 21-22°C.
