Tamil Nadu Weather Report: Possibility Of Rain In 5 Districts

Tamil Nadu was expected to receive heavy rain due to the deep low-pressure zone formed in the West Bengal Sea. But it turned into a storm and headed towards the Bangladesh coast.

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rain is possible today in 5 districts, including Kumari and Nellai. A deep depression over the Bay of Bengal is moving north-northwest. The Meteorological Department has predicted it will likely turn into a storm today.

It is expected to make landfall near Bangladesh early tomorrow morning. In this case, due to atmospheric circulation, there is a chance of moderate rain in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry today, according to the Meteorological Department.

Also, heavy rain is possible in Kumari, Nellai, Thenkasi, Thoothukudi and Virudhunagar. It is reported that the sky will be cloudy in Chennai, and there is a chance of light rain with thunder and lightning in a few places.
