Tamil Nadu today weather update, Check if you are in the district with rain or hot air: Today's weather forecast by the CMD is a mixed bag. While people in 19 districts can enjoy showers, few district people will be under the scorching heat of up to 43 degrees Celsius or 111 degrees Fahrenheit. Of the 19 districts, many will receive moderate to heavy rainfall, while few of them to have heavy rain with thunder.
In the last week of Agni Natchitram, which is to come to an end tomorrow, May 27, the people in the hot districts are advised not to come out from 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM due to hot air blowing to cause severe health hazards.
The unlucky districts to experience scorching heat with hot air are Trichy, Karur, Thiruvallur, Vellore, Ranipettai, Erode, Madurai.
Temperatures may cross 42 degrees and go higher in these districts and will also experience blowing hot air for the next two days. Already in Thiruttani, it was way past 43 degree Celsius or above 110 Fahrenheit recorded on May 23. Now all these districts are under severe hot conditions of above 105 degrees Fahrenheit.
The lucky 19 districts to receive rains today include: Coimbatore, Nilgiris, Namakkal, Salem, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Sivagangai, Pudukottai, Tirupatthur, Tiruvannamalai, Theni, Tenkasi, Virudunagar, Ramanathapuram, Tuticorin, Tirunelveli, Kanyakumari. Trichy and Madurai will have both severe heat and rains also.
Many states in India are reeling under severe heat. The Amphan super cyclone has sucked away the moisture from the air of many states to be severe heat conditions now Delhi, Haryana, and Punjab are under red alert now due to high temperatures and blowing hot air.
Chennai will have moderate weather with temperatures around 39 degrees Celsius unlike the past two days with more than 41 degrees celsius. Also, there will be not much hot air is the weather report of CMD.
