Tamil Nadu Weather: Heavy Rain For Three Days In Few Districts Today

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain for three days due to the change in the direction of the wind over the Tamil Nadu region.

According to the Met Office, light to moderate rain with thundershowers will occur at a few places in Tamil Nadu, Puthuvai and Karaikal today. Nilgiris, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Dindigul, Theni, Kanyakumari, Tenkasi, Erode, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri and Salem districts are likely to receive heavy rains.

For Chennai, the sky will be partly cloudy for the next 48 hours. Showers or thundershowers in some parts of the city. The maximum temperature maybe around 40 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature may be around 30 degrees Celsius.

Light to moderate rain with thundershowers will occur at a few places in Tamil Nadu, Puthuvai and Karaikal. The Nilgiris, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Dindigul, Theni, Kanyakumari, Tenkasi, Erode, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Salem, Tirupati, Vellore and Thiruvannamalai districts are likely to receive heavy showers at one or two places on June 3rd and 4rth.
