Tamil Nadu Weather: Heavy Rain For Next Two Days In Six Districts

Cyclone Mandus crossed the coast near Mamallapuram last night, located in the Southwest Bay of Bengal. It weakens as a low-pressure zone and prevails over northeastern regions.

Due to this, heavy to very heavy rain may occur at one or two places in the Ranipet, Vellore, Tiruvannamalai, Tirupattur, Krishnagiri and Dharmapuri districts. 

Thiruvallur, Kanchipuram, Kallakurichi, Salem, Erode, and Nilgiris districts may experience heavy rain in one or two places. The Meteorological Department has said that this heavy rain will continue tomorrow (December 11). Also, for Chennai, the sky will generally be cloudy for the next 24 hours.
