Masinagudi Tiger Attack: T23 Tiger Which killed 4 Humans Captured

The T23 Tiger, which was haunting the peace of common people living in Masinagudi and Gudalur town in The Nilgiris has been escaped after injecting double anaesthetic.
Foresters have been battling for the past 20 days to catch the T23 Tiger, which has killed four people and more than 30 cattle in the Devan Estate and Masinagudi areas in the Nilgiris district.
The public staged a protest saying that the Man-eater tiger must be shot as soon as possible. But wildlife activists have demanded that the Tiger not be fired. Following this arguments, the case was also held and Chennai high court ordered to capture the Tiger alive.
Meanwhile, the T23 Tiger was under heavy search with the help of 2 Kumkis and hound dogs. The shooting squad was brought to the spot from Kerala, Karnataka, in order to shoot the Tiger. Along with them, two Teams from Tamil Nadu was also in the location. Forest officials, Special Task Force, NGOs, Indian Institute Team are present on the spot.
During the intensive search, it was found that the Tiger, which had been lurking in the Masinagudi forest, had gone through the Mudumalai to the Bospara forest area. Foresters again spotted the Tiger on Theppakadu Road near Masinagudi during a 21-day search operation.
The Tiger snuck into a dense bush after being injected with an anaesthetic by The forest department. After a huge struggle taken by the forest department, even after injecting double anaesthetic dose the T23 Tiger escaped from the spot and is roaming in Singara area near Masinagudi.
