OPS To Contest In The Erode East By-Election on behalf of the AIADMK

Tamil State Congress party president GK Vasan had announced that he would agree to allow the Erode East constituency to the AIADMK due to the request of the AIADMK executives, while the Tamil State Congress had contested in the Erode East constituency in the last election in the AIADMK alliance. BJP is yet to announce its stand on Erode East constituency in the AIADMK alliance or support the alliance.

O. Panneerselvam has announced that he will be in the election on behalf of the AIADMK in the Erode East by-election. Chennai, AIADMK OPS, and EPS met the media this morning while being divided into two parties.

He then said that we are contesting on behalf of AIADMK in the Erode East constituency by-election. We compete because we have every right to compete. Allies are talking to us. If BJP contests we will leave.  We demand to work together as AIADMK coordinators. I will sign A and B forms demanding the Two Leaves symbol. He said this.
