The Thaipusam festival is held annually in Marudhamalai Arulmigu Subramanya Swami Temple temple in a grand manner. Many devotees will visit the temple. This year, the Thai Poosam festival will be celebrated for ten consecutive days. This year, the Thai Poosam festival is celebrated from January 18 to January 28.

Marudhamalai Temple Thaipusam Dharshan Timings:
Nadai thirappu (Opening) is from 6.00 am TO 1.00 pm; in the evening, the time is from 2.00 pm to 8.00 pm. The Nadai Saatrum Neram (Closing time) is from 1.00 pm to 2.00 pm. On special days, the Dharshan will be given a full day, that is, from 6.0Am to 8.00 pm. Due to the sightings of wild animals, the forest department has restricted the devotees from climbing from 7.00 pm.
The main event of the Thaipusam festival is the Thaipusam Chariot, which takes place on January 25 at 11.30 Am. TheThaipusam festival will end on January 28, 2024.
