Complaints have been filed against the spiritual speaker Mahavishnu, accusing him of making degrading comments about differently-abled individuals during his recent lectures at government schools in the city. It is reported that he was arrested by the police upon his arrival in Chennai today.

Police Arrested Mahavishnu:

Reports indicate that Mahavishnu, who recently gave a speech to the students on Karma, Rebirth, and Sins at the Government Schools in Ashok Nagar and Saidapet, was detained at Chennai Airport. 

According to sources, he was escorted from the airport via an alternative route by the police. His arrest followed multiple complaints filed with both the Saidapet and Tiruvottiyur police stations.

Complaints Against Mahavishnu:

The Tamil Nadu Association for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and Defenders has protested in front of the Saidapet school, criticizing the disrespectful nature of his remarks towards disabled persons. Similarly, the Ashok Nagar police station has received a complaint related to his statements.

A separate complaint was filed by the All World Disabled Persons Protection Rights Association at the Saidapet police station, prompting an ongoing investigation.

Police Actions:

In response to the complaints, earlier police led by Assistant Commissioner Srinivasan from Chennai's Saidapet division are consulting with legal experts about the potential arrest of Mahavishnu. The authorities are poised to take him into custody for questioning once he arrives in Chennai. Now, he was arrested at Chennai airport on September 7.

Spiritual speaker Mahavishnu's speech has sparked a huge controversy in Tamil Nadu, and it is expected to take a different turn during the investigation. His supporters are supporting him on his social media pages.
