During the last regime, 65 lakh free book bags were procured for distribution to school children. It featured photos of former AIADMK chief ministers Edappadi Palanisamy and Jayalalithaa. In this regard, in consultation with the Chief Minister, it has cost 13 crore rupees to buy these school bags.
If it is people's tax money of Rs 13 crore, I will implement another rule to benefit the school students. He spoke generously and let go of their picture in the bookcase. It is common practice to erase previous chief ministers identities and insert the current ruling parties identities when the rules change. But Stalin's speech confirms that he does not want to do that.
The budget allocation for school education is Rs 32,599.54 crore. These are people's taxes. Therefore, the Chief Minister has advised the students to use it properly. We are going to undertake the main task of increasing learning capacity and reducing dropout.
It is important to note that even though students score high marks, they are still deficient when it comes to their learning ability. Tamil Nadu is the 23rd state in the country in terms of learning ability. Rs 213.6 crore is allotted for the learning and teaching movement to be launched to enhance learning capacity.
We have decided to conduct Spoken English classes for students studying in the Tamil medium, separately for students 6,7,8 after school and 9,10,11,12 class students separately. This project is because students studying in Tamil medium are finding it very difficult to speak English.
