Four Coimbatore Engineering Students Killed By Train

Four College Students lost their lives while boozing on the railway track in Coimbatore.
Train tragedy near Rauthar bridge in Coimbatore killed four youngsters sitting on the railway track. Surpassing the usual deaths caused due to talking while level gate crossing and clicking selfies in railway tracks, the trend is modified to lose life while sitting and boozing on the railroads.
According to the report, the local police were informed about the bodies found scattered near the Rauthar bridge in Coimbatore. Thereafter, Police recovered the four bodies and sent them to the autopsy. Subsequently, investigations into the deaths were conducted.
The engineers were drinking alcohol on the way to the Alappuzha-Chennai express train last night at 10:30 pm. Siddique Raja of Kodaikanal, Rajasekhar of Nilakkottai, Karuppasamy, and Gautam of Rajapalayam was tragically killed on the spot when the train collided. Siddique and Rajasekhar are studying fourth year and third year respectively at a private engineering college near Sulur.
Meanwhile, Karuppusamy and Gautam have come to Coimbatore to clear their arrears. Vignesh from Theni is alive with injuries. The train Pilot told his top officers from there information is passed to the nearby police station. The youngsters' remains have been sent to the Coimbatore Medical College for post-mortem, says GRP officials.
According to the police, "Four people should have been sitting on the railway line and drinking." The train must have been overlooked because they were so intoxicating. Four people may have died as a result of the speeding train collision, the police said.
The case is being registered at the Pothanur police station, and the investigation is ongoing.
