From Police to Cowherd: TN Woman Sathya Scam 50 Men in Marriage

Sathya Marriage Swindler

Tiruppur Police are currently seeking a woman known as Sathya, who has allegedly defrauded over 50 men by marrying them through online matrimonial and dating applications and then absconding with their money and valuables.

Who is Sathya?

Sathya is a Marriage Swindler, who is from Erode district and is popular for swindling men by luring them into marriage and later stealing their assets.

One of her victims, a 30-year-old man named Mahesh Aravind (35) from Dharapuram in the Tirupur district, encountered her on an online dating platform.

Dating App Scam:

Initially introduced as Sathya (28) from the Erode district, she managed to cultivate a relationship with Aravind and eventually requested funds to purchase an air cooler within two months. Aravind considered them in love, eventually providing her with around Rs 45000 money.

After a few months, Sathya told Aravind that felt immense pressure from her parents to marry someone else, so she implored Aravind to marry her without involving their parents. They got married with the help of her friend Tamilselvi, and with the family's acceptance, they began their life together. The Aravind then gifted her 12 pounds of gold.

Aravind Realisation:

However, when Aravind attempted to include her name on the ration card, she discovered that another person's name was listed as her husband. This revelation shocked Aravind, prompting him to immediately initiate an investigation into Satya's background with the help of his acquaintances from her hometown.

The Police Complaint:

In the first complaint, it was discovered that Satya was already married to several individuals and had a child. Subsequently, Aravind tactfully brought Sathya and Tamilselvi to the Dharapuram police station and filed a complaint against her. However, they managed to escape from the police station.

Following this, Aravind's investigation revealed that many people had been deceived by Sathya. Four additional individuals who became aware of this also filed complaints against Satya at the Dharapuram police station.

Sathya's 50-plus Marriages:

During the police inquiries, a shocking truth was revealed that Sathya had married over 50 people and had stolen money and jewelry from them. Moreover, it was revealed that many victims of her deceit were unable to come forward and report the incidents.

The Marriage Scam:

Sathya scammed many men, ranging from cowherds to policemen, who have lost money in Satya's scam. Sathya has a habit of tricking men into registered marriages to extort money. After each registered marriage, Satya causes issues and makes the men involved suffer, forcing them to ask for a divorce.

It has come to light after Satya cheated more than 52 men by threatening to demand money for divorce and extorting money through this scheme.

After this came out, Sathya was trending on social media platforms and she was named Kalyana Rani (The queen of marriages). The Dharapuram police have registered a case against her and are actively searching for the marriage swindler Sathya.
