Decision on Expanding Lockdown is on Collector's hands, said Cheif Minister

The decision on expanding lockdown next month is depend on suggestions from District Collectors and the Health Department, said Edappadi K. Palaniswami. We may expect the decision on lockdown and revoking E-Pass on August 29.

The current phase of lockdown is going to end in two days. People of Tamil Nadu are eager to know whether the lockdown will conclude or retain.

Many complaints are lodged about the lack of job opportunities around the state, Mr. Edappadi responded that there is no shortfall of jobs in Tamilnadu. Industries which send their labourers to their states are bringing them back to work. Approximately Four lakh migrant workers had been sent to their native due to pandemic.
