COVID19: Travellers Coming To Tamil Nadu Will Be Strictly Monitored

A decision has been taken in a consultation meeting held on Thursday under the chairmanship of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin to monitor foreign travellers coming to Tamil Nadu.
For the past few weeks, the coronavirus has rapidly risen again in many places, including China, Japan and Brazil. Due to this, stern restrictions have been imposed to prevent the spread of the virus.
In this case, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K.Stalin held an important meeting with the Medical Minister and officials at the Chennai Chief Secretariat today.
In this consultation meeting, it has been decided to strictly monitor the travellers coming to Tamil Nadu from foreign countries. Further, the official information about the decisions taken in the consultation meeting is expected to be released shortly.
Also, Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya consulted with the officials yesterday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold an emergency meeting with a high-level committee this afternoon as the threat of Corona has resurfaced.
