COVID 19 Update Oct 13 : Death toll decreased to 57

According to the reports of Public Health and Preventive Medicine cum Health and Family Welfare Department of Tamil Nadu, new 4,666 cases thrived on Oct 13.

The total active cases declined to 43,239, with 5,117 discharge after proper treatment. Precisely, 6,65,930 confirmed positive cases until today. Fifty-seven people lost their precious life today, hiking the total death rate so far as 10,371.

Chennai: Chennai persists its place in COVID cases. It is gradually decreasing day by day in COVID positive cases. 1164 people are tested positive. Totally 1,84,429 people were affected in Chennai by SARS_CoV2. The death rate increased back to 13, and 1217 people are sent back home healthy.  

Theaters were about to open from Oct 15, and many safety measures are underway to keep outspread in control. Theater seats, Slides, and everything such has possibilities to be touched have been sanitized. Meanwhile, 191 testing centers serve properly with 66 in government and 125 in private, 83,803 Persons tested by RT-PCR yesterday. 

Chennai (1164), Coimbatore (398 ), Salem (277), Chengalpattu(252 ), and Thiruvallur (236) are the top affected Tamilnadu cities. Still, Coimbatore holds Fluctuation, keeps up the second place. Though many apprising steps were taken still, people were worried about the chaotic situation.
