Coimbatore Private school Gets Hoax Bomb Threat Via Email

A private high school in Kalampalayam, Coimbatore, recently received a bomb threat via email. The threat caused widespread concern and a sense of panic among the locals.
The Private School:
This particular high school caters to over 2,500 students from Coimbatore and the surrounding areas. Under the management of an administrative office based in Chennai, the school serves as a significant educational institution in the region.
Private School Bomb Threat:
Sources say that the threatening email specifically claimed that bombs had been planted in both the classrooms and the restrooms of the Coimbatore Private School campus. This message prompted the school's administrative office in Chennai to swiftly notify the authorities at the Coimbatore campus.
Upon receiving this threat, the principal manager of the Coimbatore school, Jeevaratnam, took immediate action by alerting the Vadavalli police. In response, Silambarasan and bomb experts from Moppanai quickly arrived at the scene.
Bomb Search:
As classes were in session at the time, the police initiated an evacuation of the students from the affected areas. A meticulous search of the classrooms and restrooms was conducted. Fortunately, no explosives were found, ultimately revealing that the bomb threat was indeed a false alarm.
Police Investigations:
In the aftermath of this incident, the Vadavalli police responded to the report filed by the school's principal manager. They have initiated a case and are currently conducting an investigation to identify the individual responsible for making the unfounded threat.
