Coimbatore Police Officer Committed Suicide After Wife Promotion

A Police officer who works as the Head of the Investigation Division committed suicide and was found dead in his house. This dreadful incident shattered the Coimbatore Police Department and his family.
Who is Balakumar?
Balakumar is a 41-year-old police officer residing in Ganapathy, Coimbatore. He is the head of the Investigation Division in the Saravanampatti branch of Coimbatore. Balakumar joined the police department in 2003 and is married to Sumathi, who works as a chef at Taj Hotels. They have two children.
Balakumar was assigned to work on election duties on April 18. On April 20, he returned to his house early and did not show up the following weekend.
The Police Officer Found Dead:
In this case, as the head constable's parents were unable to reach their son Balakumar, the couple contacted the Saravanampatti Police to do a check on him.
On Sunday around 9.30 pm, Police reached Balakumar's house to check on him. To their shock, the Head Constable was found dead. The shocked police officers retrieved the body and sent it to the Coimbatore Medical College Hospital for a postmortem.
Personal Problems:
The Police said that Balakumar has taken 10 days leave to spend time with his family as his wife leaving for London.
According to reports, Balakumar committed suicide due to relationship issues with his wife. The wife, who was employed as a chef at Taj Hotel, received a promotion and transfer offer to work at the London Taj Hotel. However, this promotion caused friction between the couple.
The note found in his house states that Balakumar was depressed about his wife leaving for London to work. Leaving his two Children with his Parents-in-law's house in Salem, Balakumar committed suicide.
