Coimbatore Periyanaickenpalayam Bus Bike Accident Kills Father And Son

A man and his 3-year-old son were killed in an accident near Periyanayakkanpalayam, Coimbatore, where a private bus collided with a two-wheeler. His wife alone survived in the accident.

Ashok Kumar (32) worked as a water supply worker in Kudalur Municipality near Periyanayakanpalayam, Coimbatore. He is married to Suseela and has as three old kid.

In this case, Ashok Kumar, his wife, and his son were going towards Periyanayakanpalayam by bike. While he was going towards Thudiyalur, a private bus which used to run in Pollachi to Mettupalayam route dashed the bike in which Ashok and his family were travelling.

Ashok Kumar and his son Sarvanth died on the spot. His wife, Suseela, was seriously injured. Sushila was later rescued and admitted to the hospital by the public. Meanwhile, the bus driver and conductor escaped from the spot. After that, the public blocked the road there. The protest was abandoned when the police negotiated.
