Coimbatore Book Fair 2024 at Codissia from July 19 To 28

The Coimbatore Book Fair starts from July 19 to 28, 2024, and will feature approximately 285 stalls this year. The event is held at the Codissia Trade Fair Complex.

Coimbatore Book Fair:

This is the eighth edition of the book fair and the book lovers eagerly awaiting for the book festival. In this case, the Minister for Housing and Urban Development of Tamil Nadu, S. Muthusamy will inaugurate the fair.

The Coimbatore District Small Industries Association is teaming up with the district administration to host the annual book festival at the Codissia Trade Fair Complex. 

The festival will showcase a wide collection of books and activity stalls from all across the state, with a special emphasis on featuring the works of Tamil authors. 

Other Activities:

Attendees can also look forward to engaging workshops, inspiring speeches, captivating poetry recitals, thought-provoking short film screenings, exciting book launches, enchanting storytelling sessions, and literary competitions designed specifically for students.

Coimbatore Collector On Book Fair:

District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati addressed on Tuesday saying, “The response last year was good, making ₹2 crore in sales. This year too, we anticipate strong participation from students and families,” 

The Collector added, “As in previous years, we plan to conduct a book donation drive at the festival, which will benefit government schools, colleges, and hostels. Various activities will be organized for school students, with a schedule to be drawn up,”
