Chennai Rains Trends Following Water Level Rise In Many Areas

The Meteorological Department has issued a warning that heavy rainfall along with thunder and lightning is expected across Tamil Nadu for the next three days. 

Chennai Rains:

Chennai has undergone significant nighttime rain recently, with rainfall also affecting the districts of Kanchipuram, Tiruvallur, and Chengalpattu. As a result, temperatures in the northern districts have notably dropped.

Heavy Rainfall:

The Chennai Meteorological Department in its statement, revealed that light to moderate rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning, is expected on September 26 in several areas including Kanchipuram, Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Thiruvannamalai, Kallakurichi, and Salem districts.

In this case, heavy rain is expected to occur in isolated areas of Kancheepuram, Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Tiruvannamalai, Kallakurichi, and Salem districts of Tamil Nadu on September 26.

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rain is forecast for specific locations in Ghat areas of Coimbatore district, Vellore, Thirupattur, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Salem, Namakkal, Karur, Tiruchirappalli, Nilgiris, Tiruppur, Erode, Theni, Dindigul, Madurai, Virudhunagar, Tenkasi, Tirunelveli and Kanyakumari districts On September 28.

Heavy rain may also be seen in isolated locations across the hilly areas of Coimbatore, Nilgiris, Tirupur, Theni, Dindigul, Madurai, Virudhunagar, Tenkasi, Tirunelveli, and Kanyakumari on September 29.

Chennai:

The sky is expected to be partly cloudy over the next 24 hours. Moderate rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning, is likely in some areas of the city. The maximum temperature will be around 33-34°C, while the minimum temperature will range from 25-26°C. 

Coimbatore:

Coimbatore also expects a partly cloudy sky, with a minimum temperature of 22°C and a maximum temperature reaching 35°C.
