Around 250 Persons Arrested in a Drug Party at Kodaikanal

250 persons arrested in Kodaikanal for a mass drug party: Yesterday, February 6 night, 250 persons were arrested by the police from a private farmhouse in Kodaikanal. All were accused of having a mass drug party which was organized online. South Zone IG on a tip-off made these arrests. 

Kodaikanal is a famous holiday retreat and renowned tourism destination for people around the world. It is known as the princess of the hills from 1845, and it is also rumored to be famous for drugs for a long time. Yesterday hundred police personnel rounded a private firm in the Gundupatti area near Kodaikanal. It was on the orders of the south zone IG who has got a tip of a mass drug party underway in that place. 

Police seem to have rounded up to 250 people who were enjoying the mass drug party with all types of drugs. They were then arrested, and all the drugs were seized from them. But news now confirms that, since most of them were students, they were all let off now. Only three persons who are alleged to have organized the mass drug party online are currently under investigation by the IG.
