In this case, actor Prabhu has been admitted to Medway Hospital in Kodambakkam, Chennai, due to a kidney problem. In a statement released by the hospital, "Actor Prabhu was admitted to Medway Hospital in Kodambakkam, Chennai last night (February 20) due to a kidney problem.

He was diagnosed with a kidney stone and underwent ureteroscopy laser surgery yesterday morning to remove the kidney stones.
