Total Solar Eclipse 2024 Photos Go Viral On Social Media

The first total solar eclipse of the year occurred on April 8, 2024, and photos related to it are going viral on social media. 

The eclipse was visible in the United States, Mexico, and Canada. Unfortunately, as it happened at night in India, there was no opportunity to see the solar eclipse accurately. 

During a total solar eclipse, the Moon passes between the Earth and the Sun in a straight line until the Sun is completely obscured by the Moon. Millions of people around the world watched and enjoyed this event, with NASA broadcasting it live on their website. Additionally, Elon Musk, the head of SpaceX, shared photos and videos taken from space on his own website.
