Vijay Flag Launch: What Is The Meaning Of TVK Flag And Anthem?

TVK leader Vijay at the party’s headquarters in Panaiyur launched and hoisted the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam flag on August 22. The event, which included the release of the flag Anthem, has sparked a trend on social media.

The TVK flag hoisting ceremony was attended by the presence of a selected group of attendees, which included Vijay's parents among others. The Tamilaga Vetri Kalagam flag was hoisted around 9:15 am, accompanied by the release of the flag Anthem.

During his address, Vijay pledged to address and remove societal differences related to caste, religion, gender, and birthplace. He emphasized his commitment to promoting equality and creating awareness among the people. "I will strive for equal opportunities and equal rights for all, and I solemnly affirm my commitment to uphold the principle of equality for all living beings," he declared.

Vijay also in his speech said that they will not forget the patriots and soldiers who fought for Tamil soil. Then he affirmed, "We will work together for the development of Tamil Nadu."

TVK First Conference:

Vijay also discussed preparations for TVK’s first state conference, promising that details would be announced soon. In addition, he said the goals and motives of the TVK Party were revealed in the first state conference.

TVK Flag Design:

• The flag features two elephants, a surrogate flower (Vaagai Poo), and stars, with blue and green stars encircling the flower. The colors used are red and yellow.
• Vijay hinted that the story behind the flag's design would be revealed at the state conference.
• Followers assumed that the elephants symbolize the ancient Tamil people and their historical role in warfare. The surrogate flower represents victory, reinforcing the flag’s symbolic significance. 

TVK Flag Anthem:

• The TVK song, which highlights many Tamil fighters and includes imagery of Jallikattu, was penned by lyricist Vivek and composed by Thaman.
• The song pays tribute to Tamil culture and historical figures, aligning with the party's values and vision.

Vijay was one of the prominent figures in Tamilnadu and the actor was always questioned about his entrance into Politics. In this case, Thalapathy Vijay officially announced his political entry on February 2, 2024. 

Actor Vijay has revealed his entry into politics by revealing the name of his new party, Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam. This announcement follows a meeting in New Delhi, where representatives from Vijay's fan association, Thalapathy Vijay Makkal Iyakkam (TVMI), met with Election Commission (ECI) officials to begin the formal registration process for the party.

In the situation, actor-turned-politician Vijay announced that his primary focus is on the upcoming 2026 Tamil Nadu Chief Minister election and the party members will not be participating in any other elections.
