The Congress party has released its election manifestos for the Lok Sabha elections. Political parties are preparing Lok Sabha election manifestos. Accordingly, the Congress party released the manifesto today in Delhi. Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, P. Chidambaram, Priyanka Gandhi, and others participated in the function today and released the manifesto today.
Key Manifestos of Congress For Lok Sabha Election 2024
- Socio-economic and caste-wise surveys will be conducted across the country.
- State governments can conduct exams like NEET and CUET if they wish.
- A woman in the family will be given Rs.1 lakh annually.
- 10% reservation for economically backward will be extended to all castes.
- Rohith Vemula Act to prevent harassment of Scheduled Castes.
- The National Education Policy will be implemented after consultation with the State Governments.
- 50% reservation for women in central government jobs from 2025.
- Under the Mahalakshmi scheme, poor families will be given Rs 1 lakh per year.
- Congress brought in the Right to Education (RTE) Act in 2009 that transformed education for children between the ages of 6 and 14. We will amend the RTE Act to make education from Class I to Class XII in public schools compulsory and free.
- The Congress said it will conduct a nationwide socio-economic and caste Census to enumerate the castes and sub-castes and their socio-economic conditions and it will pass a constitutional amendment to raise the 50 per cent cap on reservations for SC, ST and OBC.
- Scholarships for ST, ST, and OBC students will be doubled.
- A large number of languages will be included in the 8th Schedule of the Constitution.

- Those who escaped criminal cases by joining the BJP will be re-examined.
- Consideration will be given to transferring various sectors in the General List to the State List.
