Edappadi Palanisamy and Kamal Haasan Campaign in Thiruparankundram

No comment about the fingerprint
Atop his campaign van, Edappadi K. Palanisamy the chief minister of Tamilnadu informed the crowd that there was no statement about the fingerprint of Jayalalitha in the official order for setting aside the winning of A K. Bose by the high court. He started his campaign in Madurai ring road near Veeraganur supporting his Thiruparankundram candidate Mr Munyandi.The opposition candidate in Thiruparankundram then and now Mr Saravanan of the DMK party filed the case against A K. Bose questioning the authenticity of Jayalaitha’s fingerprint in ticket approving Bose’s candidature.
Addressing the controversial nature of the by-poll in Thiruparankundram the chief minister told the above statement. He also accused Stalin of propagating wrong information to tamper the good name of Ms J. Jayalalitha and the ADMK party.
Kamal Haasan on water scarcity in TN
Kamal Haasan too campaigned in Thiruparankundram supporting his candidate Sakthivel. He condemned the government’s negligence for not anticipating the water scarcity in Tamilnadu. He expressed his heavy-heartedness of seeing people suffering from water scarcity and stated that TN is looking like a desert. He also blamed the people for their fear of questioning authority and urged them to take control of their constituency.He also pointed out the court order condemning the government for not maintaining the water bodies properly and promised that if they are selected as the ruling party every house will have a separate water connection with 24-hour availability of water.
