UIDAI Update: 3 Months Extend To Update The Aadhaar card

The last date for the free update on the Aadhaar Card has been extended again. With this government decision, people who have not updated their Aadhaar number for the last ten years have an opportunity. 

The last date for updating the Aadhaar card has been extended by three months to March 14, 2024. To this date, the residents can update the address certificate on the Aadhaar card for free and also update the name, date of birth, mobile number photo and biometric details.

The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), the Aadhaar card-issuing body, has appealed to people to update their Aadhaar card. Those who have not updated Aadhaar for more than ten years need to update Aadhaar. The UIDAI says that proof of identity (POI) and proof of address (POA) should be verified.
