Two Army Trainee Assaulted, Friend Gang Raped In Madhya Pradesh

Two young army trainee officers and their female friend were victims of an assault near Jam Gate, Indoor on September 11 at 2:30 am. Reports say the woman friend was gang-raped by 6 to 7 attackers in Madhya Pradesh.
The officers, aged 23 and 24, were participating in the Young Officers (YO) course at the Infantry School in Mhow cantonment and had gone on a picnic with their friends on September 10 evening.
The horrifying incident occurred near Jam along the gate of Mhow-Mandleshwar Road in Madhya Pradesh. Reports indicate that six to seven assailants attacked the group while they were in the car.
The miscreants held one officer and a woman hostage while sending the other officer and a woman to fetch a ransom of ₹10 lakh. One of the officers managed to contact his superiors, and the police promptly arrived at the scene.
Noticing the police's arrival, miscreants fled the scene, and all four victims were subsequently taken to Mhow Civil Hospital for a medical examination.
The doctors' examinations revealed signs of injury on the officers' bodies, and it was found that one of the women had been gang-raped by the looters. Indore Rural SP Hitika Vasal stated that a case has been registered under sections pertaining to loot, dacoity, rape, and the Arms Act.
