RCB Vs RR Highlights IPL 2024:

RCB Vs RR was an intresting match till the end, and for sure, the viewers would have enjoyed watching it. The toss favoured Rajasthan Royals as captain Sanju Samson won the toss and chose to bowl first. Faf du Plessis was visibly unhappy about losing the toss. RCB batted first and scored a total of 172/8 in 20 overs. RR won the match by chasing down the score in 19 overs.

RCB Wickets:

In the RCB Vs RR match highlights, Trent Boult displayed mastery with the new ball in his first over. The first ball was a bit on the leg side, the next was further up, and the third was wide of the off-stump and swung back sharply. The fourth ball veered into Du Plessis, causing him to lose his balance and fall on the crease while trying to defend it. He picked the wicket of Faf du Plessis.

Chahal relied on his experience and took the Kohli wickets before he could get into his deep powerplay style. Avesh Khan, who had a slow start, finished strong in the end, taking the important wickets of Rajat Patidar, Mahipal Lomror, and Dinesh Karthik. At the last over, RR restricted RCB with 172-8 at the end of the innings.

A Good Chase From Rajasthan Royals:

In pursuit of 173 runs, Rajasthan Royals' openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and Tom Kohler-Cadmore got off to a strong start, scoring 46 runs in the powerplay before Kohler-Cadmore was bowled by Lockie Ferguson's leg-cutter.

Jaiswal continued the momentum, scoring 45 runs off 30 balls, including eight boundaries, and also partnered with captain Sanju Samson for a 35-run stand (Samson scored 17 off 13 balls).

However, after Cameron Green dismissed Jaiswal, Rajasthan Royals lost quick wickets, going from 81/1 to 112/4 in just four overs. Karn Sharma trapped Samson, and then Dhruv Jurel was run out by Virat Kohli's excellent fielding from the deep.

Both teams were on the same track until they entered the death overs. Royal Challengers Bengaluru ended the powerplay with 50/1, Rajasthan 47/1. In the middle overs, they were 75/4 and 79/3, respectively. So, the Death Over made the difference. RCB, who scored only 47 runs, failed to give a good finish. Rajasthan took the required runs in four overs and won by four wickets.

Rajasthan Royals Sealed Victory:
