A private hospital nurse in Bihar's Samastipur district imposed a cut with a surgical blade on a doctor's private parts as he and two other associates allegedly tried to her gang rape her inside the hospital.

The incident took place in a private hospital in Samastipur district, Bihar where the nurse defended herself by attacking the doctor with a surgical blade. The doctor was reportedly tried to rape her with his two associates.

The accused was identified as Dr. Sanjay Kumar Sanju from Begusarai district, Sunil Kumar Gupta from Vaishali district, and Awadhesh Kumar from the Mangra area.

Reports say the doctor with his two associates, had drunk alcohol and, in an intoxicated state, when they spotted the nurse. Then they started harassing the nurse, who was employed at the healthcare center.

Doctor Sanju tried to sexually harass the nurse which caused the nurse to attack the intoxicated doctor. In this case, the nurse quickly grabbed a surgical blade and cut his private part, freeing herself from his grip and escaping the scene.

Sunil and Awadhesh, the other two associates were said to have chased the nurse, but she was able to hide from them and notify the police by dialing the emergency number 112. 

In response to her call, a team headed by SP Vinay Tiwari conducted a raid and arrested the doctor and his two associates. The team also found bloodstained clothing at the scene of the crime. 

The injured doctor is currently receiving medical care while in police custody at a hospital, and his condition is being kept confidential. The police are actively conducting an investigation and collecting additional evidence. 

In a statement, DSP Sanjay Kumar Pandey disclosed that the victim placed a distress call to emergency services late at night. The information was then relayed to the local police station and to the SP, resulting in quick action. 

The victim was discovered hiding in a nearby field, where she told the incident to the police. The nurse, who had been working at the hospital for the past 10 to 15 months, described how the doctor, a physiotherapist, and his two associates had been consuming alcohol before they began harassing her and narrated how she escaped the attack.

Investigators gathered various pieces of evidence from the scene, including bloodstained bed linens, three mobile phones, and alcohol bottles. Additionally, it was discovered that the hospital's CCTV cameras had been disabled before the commission of the crime.
