The Medical Counselling Committee has recently revised the online counselling schedule for medical and dental course admission on July 1st week. The registration for the first-round date was earlier extended till July 26 and now it is all set to enter the counselling for seats. The Neet 2019 cut off for admission of 95000 MBBS and BDS seats in Medical and Dental colleges was earlier released by NTA.

Category wise cutoff scores are given below for the NEET 2019

The unreserved category needs 50th percentile while unreserved physically handicapped category needs 45th percentile, scheduled caste with 40 percentile and the scheduled tribe with 40 percentile and other backward classes. SC- PH 40th percentile, ST PH 40TH percentile and OBC PH with 40 the percentile.

NEET scores 2019 are required for admissions in the Indian Medical colleges and institutes. In addition, NEET is also compulsory for Indian students to study medicine and related fields abroad and compulsory for admission to Ayush courses which includes BAMS/BUMS/BYMS/BSMS/BHMS.

EWS quota reservation

As per the instructions of the Government of India, EWS 10% quota reservation is applicable in MBBS admission through NEET UG this year. On increased seats, the reservation will be provided with the approval of MCI. The qualifying percentile for the EWS category is set as 50 percentile. Counselling authorities will be providing the list of Institutes which would be providing the EWS quota reservation and conduct counselling for the seats as a separate category.

NEET 2019 Counselling procedure:

The Neet 2019 counselling procedure will start from June 19, 2019, through online. Counselling will be conducted for the 15% of all India quota seats except for colleges of Jammu and Kashmir state. All the seats at the Central and deemed universities are reserved for wards of insured persons which is called as IP quota in employees State Insurance Corporation colleges and seats available at the Armed Forces Medical Colleges, Pune.

The state-level counselling will be conducted separately buys a state Thora 30 for state quota seats of Government colleges and all private colleges. Seats are allotted to the students as per the merit, category, and availability of seats in colleges.

The following is the process online for admission to MBBS and BDS courses offered by various Government and private colleges of India according to the NEET counselling procedure.

The next step is to revisit the web portal and select the “candidate login”.

The roll number has to be entered along with the password and submitted.

Soon after as per the interior database is set, all the details will be shown for verification. After the candidate verifies the details, confirming the registration will be the last step. Registration slip will be generated which you can take a printout.

Now as registration is over the candidate will get the information regarding all of the procedural necessities with regular updates from counselling authorities.

The payment for the registration fee will have options. It will have to fee non-refundable and refundable registration fees. Payment is possible to be made with debit card or credit card or net banking etc. Required to fill the choices of course and colleges according to their preferences and priority. The candidates have to then click on the save button to lock your filled choices.

After a few days of choice-locking, the authorities will declare the seat allotment result. The seats will be allotted as per the preferences made by the candidates. Candidates will get to know about this allotment details through an SMS or email.

Soon after seats are allotted to the candidates, they will have to report to the allotted college within the time limit to confirm the registration. If at all the candidate fails to reach the allotted college within a given time period then the seat will automatically be transferred to the next candidate.

Below are the documents that are required at the time of attending the Neet counselling 2019

  3. Class 10 or 12 certificate and mark sheet
  4. ID proof
  5. 8 passport size photographs ( same as 1 affixed on the application form)
  6. Provisional allotment letter generated online
  7. Domicile Proof ( only for state quota seats)
  8. Category certificate

Mock Counselling:

This process will give an option for the candidates to get an idea of the seats available in the colleges selected by them. During the first round, the candidates will be asked to submit the Echoes and college choices for processing. After this step, they will be able to see the indicator seats available in those colleges. This data is provided according to the basis of a candidates rank and choices which will help them in selections of choice as per the available options.

Round 2 counselling – NEET 2019

The second round of counselling is conducted to fill all the vacant seats from the first round of counselling. Incase, a candidate is not satisfied with the seats allocated in the first round, one can proceed for the second round of counselling. Candidates who did the registration but did not get allotted any seats in the first round from the reserved category and those who got their admission cancelled due to the chance of category, will be considered for counselling under the new category.

NEET 2019 – Mop up round

Mop up round is conducted to fill the remaining seats even after the first and the second round. The candidates who did not get seats in the first two rounds will be eligible to participate in this mop up round.
