In Madhya Pradesh, a woman who was out on a picnic with her husband was gang-raped by 5 men in Rewa district on October 21. Police arrested 7 out of 8 involved in the crime are arrested.

Sources say a newly married couple, both 19 years old, went out for a picnic near the Gurh area of Rewa District on October 21. Reports indicate that a group of intoxicated men attacked the woman's husband and tied him to a tree. After separating from her husband, the gang raped the 19-year-old by taking turns.

The group also recorded a video of the report and threatened to make it viral on social media platforms if the couple spoke out. In this situation, the couple reluctantly approached the police the following day and reported the incident. 

The report indicated that all the accused involved were engaged in drinking, partying, and cooking at the picnic location of Rewa. Investigations revealed that five of them were directly involved in the rape, having been present at the scene, while three others were nearby.

The three also arrived to the crime scene, after the incident, these accused quickly left the area. In this case, the rape charges were filed at all 8 as per norms, a private news channel said.

Police stated that all the accused are aged between 19 and 21. They added that 7 out of the 8 individuals were arrested, while 1 is still at large. Authorities are actively searching for the remaining accused.
