Lucknow Flipkart Delivery Boy Killed For iPhone With COD Option

A tragic incident occurred in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, where a 30-year-old delivery man, Bharat Sahu, was killed after being lured to a customer's home for two expensive phone deliveries worth around 1.5 lakhs on September 23.
Flipkart Delivery Man:
Bharat Sahu, a resident of Nishatganj who had been working as a delivery agent for eight years has been missing since September 23. In this case, the worried family members filed a missing person complaint on him after two days.
In this case, the police started the investigation to find the delivery man. Following the investigations, police with Bharat's call records tracked his final phone calls to the accused which led them to Gajanan and his accomplice, Akash.
What Happened To UP Delivery Man?
According to police, Gajanan had ordered two expensive smartphones worth approximately ₹1.5 lakh through Flipkart with the Cash On Delivery (COD) option to his home address. They reportedly lured Bharat to his home in Chinhat, where he and Akash strangled him. After the crime, they concealed Bharat's body in a sack and disposed of it in the Indira Canal.
Police Arrest The Suspect:
Police have arrested Akash, who has confessed to the crime, while they continue to search for the main suspect, Gajanan. Efforts are also underway to recover Bharat's body from the canal.
Bharat's brother, Prem Kumar, is calling for justice and demanding stringent punishment for the perpetrators. “My only demand is that the police impose a penalty that serves as a lesson to them,” he stated.
