Six children died, and over 20 others were injured after a school bus overturned in Haryana's Mahendragarh on Thursday morning.

This morning, the GL Public School bus in Kanina was carrying students as usual. However, as the vehicle approached Unhani village, the driver lost control and crashed into a tree on the side of the road. The impact caused the bus to overturn.

Six school students died in this tragic accident. Twenty school students were also seriously injured. Neighbours informed the police about the accident. The police rushed to the spot, rescued the injured students, and took them to the nearest hospital. Also, the police have registered a case regarding this accident and are actively investigating.

"Six students were killed when a private school vehicle overturned in Narnal district. 13 school students were seriously injured. A preliminary investigation revealed that the driver was under the influence of alcohol. 

It is said that the private school was operating today while the government has given a holiday to schools on the occasion of Ramadan. The investigation has revealed License for school vehicle 6  that it expired years ago," the police official said.

The parents are mourning and have requested strict action against the school administration, as the school operated even on the day of the Ramzan holiday.
