COVID 19: Expert Panel Approves Covaxin For Children Aged 2-18 Years

While there is no other option to get rid of Coronavirus other than Vaccines, the vaccination process is al full swing. The vaccination for people over 18 years of age is currently in process. So far, more than 95 crore people have been vaccinated.
It has been reported that Bharat Biotech has completed the final phase of testing of the vaccine for children under 18 years of age and submitted a report to the Central Government today.
Following this, the vaccination of children will be intensified. Bharat Biotech, a Hyderabad-based manufacturer of Covaxin, is testing its vaccine for boys and girls under the age of 18 in three phases. Of these, the final test is currently completed.
Accordingly, a panel of experts, including doctors, scientists and pharmacologists, has approved the new central program, which allows children between the ages of 2 and 18 to be vaccinated based on experimental data conducted in three phases. In India, emergency approval for the Covaxin and Covishield vaccine was granted in January, and corona vaccination is in full swing.
