CSK vs DC Highlights IPL 2021: With The Good Hits CSK Entered Finals

Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals played in the first play-off match of the current IPL season. Delhi, who batted first in the match, scored 172 runs. Chennai team chased that goal.

Ruturaj Gaikwad and Duplessis were the opening batsmen. Faf du Plessis, who needed 8.65 runs per over, was bowled by Anrich Nortje for just one run off the fourth ball of the first over. Robin Uthappa, who came in as the third batsman, joined Rudraj and gave a great start.

The two had jointly formed a partnership for 110 runs which came out well with a good score. Robin Uthappa was out for 63 off 44 balls in the 14th over by Tom Karan. 

Shardul Thakur was out in the same over. Ambati Rayudu was run-out in the next over. Chennai had lost three wickets before scoring ten runs. At the end of 15 overs, Chennai had scored 121 runs for the loss of 4 wickets.

Chennai needed 52 off the last 30 balls to win. Ruturaj Gaikwad was out for 70 off 50 balls in the 19th over. Following this, Chennai captain Dhoni hit a six in the second ball. 

When Captain Dhoni entered the field, the probability of winning was high for DC, but it was completely opposite to what was expected. Dhoni hit three fours in the last over, which gave the Chennai Super Kings a huge victory.

In this match, Captain Dhoni proved that he is a 'good finisher' and age don't matter. CSK fans are celebrating the victory by posting creative posters on social media. 

With this victory, Chennai Super Kings have entered the final of the IPL 2021 season as the first team. Chennai won by four wickets. The Delhi team will play the second play-off match on Wednesday.
