Chhattisgarh Bus Accident: 12 Killed As Bus Overturns In Durg district

On April 09, an accident occurred in the Kumhari area of Durg district in Chhattisgarh. A bus carrying employees of a private company who were returning home after work overturned and fell into a ditch. 

The tragic incident claimed the lives of 12 people, while more than 14 others sustained injuries. The injured were immediately taken to the hospital for medical assistance. The police are currently investigating the cause of the accident.

Prime Minister Modi and many other political leaders have condoled the families of those who lost their lives in the accident.

Prime Minister Modi has said on his X page, 'The bus accident in Durg, Chhattisgarh is extremely sad. My condolences to those who lost their loved ones in this. Along with this, I wish for the speedy recovery of the injured. Under the supervision of the state government, the local administration is engaged in helping the victims in every possible way.'
